P.S hope who ever reads the last post can read smiley language, lol :D

Yes by the smilies It was good fun :D:D Never seen one in the metal have seen a cx650 turbo in the metal didnt get to ride it though :(:( I imagine an xn85 would be worth good money now, theres always one bike that you wish you kept. For me its my old Yamaha RD125lc the 350lc little brother was a great bike and would be worth twice what I sold it for now:eek:.

If you can read smiley language this is how my Husaberg 650sm make me feel when I ride it :D:D:p:eek::oops::D:D:) The mad face at the end is cos it normally breaks down hahaha

Get a Yamaha:p:D.
What goes wrong LB?
I had a RD200 & RD250 70's basket cases I was going to always do up but never did sold them to a collector before we moved here, along with them went a RZ350 plenty of go just didn't have the brakes to pull it up when it did. Mmmm sold it slightly bent, opps :oops: lol, (no,...no story )
Getting organised for the new race season LB?

Yep I can read the smileys, reminds me of how I felt on the mountain section on the Isle Of Mann. :D:D

Were you on the front or the back amethist? If I was on the back it'd be :eek::eek::eek::oops: lol

Not as bad as I make out actually it is pretty reliabe now since it had a very expensive engine rebuild. Its only broken down once since when the balance shaft drive gear lost 2 teeth and nearly destroyed the whole motor!
No not ready for the new season need to sort my new job out and save up some money:) Amethist is a very brave pillion :eek::eek:

Pillion was the way LOL. Could do with a fast beating drum smiley,

Advice to anyone doing this for the first time. Take some spare clothes, just in case.

And no boys, I did not need any LOL. But would not have missed it for the world, wow what an experience.

I love this thread! I have only had one motorcycle, a 1974 Honda CB550. It was beautiful 1970's brown with slick orange and gold pinstriping. I wish I had a photo! I put some flat bars on it so I would be super-cool and I rode the hell out of that thing all over the city.

After work, I would just ride and ride as long as I could without stopping. If I hit a red light, just turn right. It calmed me down immensely to feel the wind in my face and ride to the ocean. It gave me a freedom that I had never known, to go to other neighborhoods that I had only heard about but never been to. I would just pick a place I had never been to and ride out there to check it out.

I would love to have another one, but the fiancee is not liking that idea at all.

Way to go atl22

Yes I like to ride like that no real purpose just a ride for the sake of it, I find it a good release as I seem to forget all my troubles on a bike and just enjoy the ride Link Removed

This poor old thing sat on the to-do list for a bit too long by the look of it .
