Valentine's Day is only 4 more sleeps away from my end of the world, and while I appreciate the commercialism, I still love it when I have someone to share it with.
It's funny, when Anthony and I first started dating he would buy me the most amazing bunches of flowers - there was one bunch that I had to place on the floor as they we so huge and amazing but I can't find the picture of that one but inserted is the photo of the ones he gave me to which the keys to his house were tied with a note saying something along the lines of "my door is always open to you". Gosh, there goes a chunk of his tough image...;)
Anyway, as it is coming up to 4 years of being together I guess the Romance has worn off a little and Anthony said this morning "I guess you want flowers". Funny thing is now, as much as I love getting flowers, it is a lot of money better spent elsewhere, as I am sure they increase the prices by 100% just for the day, so I said no. I do however keep telling him he could always just go pick me one out of the garden and give it to me.... just because ;)
So, my request is a candle lit home cooked dinner at the table (instead of in front of the TV) as Anthony has a couple of mean recipes which I just loovve. Apparently to get that he has to know what he is getting in return so it is fair value . Anyway, gotta love him.
What are you doing for Valentine's Day?
