You know you have PTSD when..... After the tenth lap of the carpark it hits you: Sh*t! I forgot to park the car!

You look in the review mirror to reverse down the driveway............and you see your two year old son strapped into the toddler seat, calmly waiting!! :confused:

You know you have PTSD when your insurance company acknowledges your invalidity and welfare thinks you're OK :confused: So now I have to get ALL the assessements from the past 4 years and start all over again ... pill time ... and if I'm up at this hour ... for a change it isn't because of PTSD but the bean soup I ate last night ... god talk about doing toilet time :poop: :eek: ... sorry for the details

Along the same line........ when you don't even have to give your name at your therapist's office 'cause all the secretary's know you by your voice (over the phone)

You know you have PTSD when you have lost understanding for most systems, even the sacred.

I do not mean we all have, but I notice that systems mean nothing to me now. Political, educational, religious.....just make no sense. I respect them because they are important to people, but they are now hard to understand.

It is like I have been dropped back into this world from a planet in which I was exiled and I no longer remember nor understand them now.

Only a few personal systems make sense now, but none of the wider, collective systems.

You know you have Ptsd when you didn't even realise you done all the above, or is it you know you have Ptsd when you believe you done all the above but they're talking about someone else. Grrrr. Maybe it's that you know you have Ptsd when you hear someone's been banned and expect it to be you?

Can't wait till I'm older and wiser.
