((((Incendiu)))) You are amazing.

OK, truth time. I have had an anxiety filled day and have only eaten cereal and toast. It is gonna take some effort to force some food down. I DO NOT recommend this as a weight loss plan! When the anxiety dies down I will want to stuff myself so I need to gain some controll over it, but for now, I really can't face food today.

Any suggestions regarding something I can have instead of 'food.' will be welcome.

I am have way through my second week and it is looking good. I have been sensible, I haven't deprived myself but I don't snack the way I used to. I'm eating very little chocolate, no alcohol during the week, eating more fruit and veg, and drinking more water (well sugar free squash).

I'm still walking the dogs although that today has been replaced with vacuuming the lounge, dining room and stairs.

I did a slight cheat on the scales and did get my weight to register , I do know I'm not there properly yet, but I think I am close to it.

Oh my, I could really binge tonight. Trying so hard to resist. One more night and then I can have a glass of wine tomorrow.

I keep getting an image in my mind of my mouth stuffed with chocolate - ummmmmm chocolate :devilish:.

I get the 85% chocolate fro Lidle or Aldi KP. A small piece every day is good for the Serotonin levels. I really can't eat much of it as it is very strong but I do like it. It contains Tryptophan, an essential amino acid found in foods that contain protein. It is able to convert into 5-HTP (5-hydroxy-tryptophan), and then to serotonin. Serotonin is involved in mood, appetite, sleep and impulse control.

Other foods with tryptophan are oily fish, bananas and Marmite. I'm not keen on oily fish so I take an omega 3, 6 & 9 capsule every day. Bananas can be fattening so I only eat them in moderation but I try to have some marmite each day. Apparently it all helps with the processing - brain food!

Keep resisting those temptations KP and maybe we can have a nice treat next week. :devilish: :D

Watch the sugar free drinks KP, and anyone else.

They contain Aspartame and/or Acesulfame k, as both are artificial sweeteners that could cause issues with so many things.

My husband cannot drink anything with these in, as he has had downward spirals, which could have possibly been caused by these. You might want to read the link below. Not meant to scare you, just for yo to be aware of the possibility.

He now drinks 7UP or Sprite, as neither have them in and are not as bad a s the other drinks with sugar in them. Not sure if it is Weight Watchers or Slimmers World who suggested that you drink Sprite as a soft drink, though in moderate amounts.
