I'm Doing This For Me, Because I'm Worth It

Still at it, I had a minor blip on Tuesday, 3 glasses of wine and an ice cream Magnum :oops:. In my defense it had been a very rough day including retelling all the things I can no longer do since my accident and PTSD - the doc needed extra paper :(.

On the plus side, I am eating healthily, much smaller portions and no way as much chocolate. So I don't feel I've blown it. I can also walk further with the dogs without stopping for a rest (OK not much further but it is a start).

James that is great. After last night I'm not much of an inspiration though. I had rather to much wine which led to a bit to much chocolate.

Rather surprisingly, I'm not giving myself a hard time about it. I really enjoyed the night, lovely and relaxing with H, candles lit, a nice meal......

Today it is back at it.

I saw the nurse this morning - girlie stuff, don't ask yucky. I asked her to weigh me and I have lost 5kg (10lbs).

Tomorrow I have to have a fasting blood test and I am arranging for that nurse to monitor my weight loss.

Maybe cutting back on alcohol and chocolate and walking the dogs is working. I need that inspiration today as there is a strong wind (not me) and the rain is coming sideways and I must walk the dogs.

I am 7 days straight into walking my dogs, eating is better, and I did put in a call to Curves :) ...scary because my isolation has been off the charts for quite some time but I'm willing to try again. I've done it before for a year so I know I'm capable and that it helps to make me feel better.
