You Know You Have PTSD When...

As an aside, not sure if this is helpful, but when I can't sleep, if I eat cheese and or pb and/ or (sorry, it's gross) margarine, I can. Plus sometimes cookies like Arrowroot-type, especially. Not sure if it's comfort, hunger I don't notice, physiological, (or a sugar coma!), but that seems to work. Especially the cheese.

When a situation comes up that could be bad or good, but all you can think about is coming up with every possible outcome (good and bad) and then coming to terms with possible outcome so you don't "freak out" when one of those does happen.
I STILL do this all the time! Drives me crazier! I overanalyze pretty much every facet of my existence until I get so confused about what is "actually" going on that I miss out on what went on in the first place! Make sense?

I frequently start stories to realise my vocabulary has taken a holiday, and after failing at trying to descibe that man with the hair, married to that woman with the kid, who were at the place near the blue shop in the suburb starting with K... I end up trying to figure out my own riddle, because I not only forgot what the story was, but am now too focused on thinking of a suburb starting with K, which might give me a clue about the blue shop...
