I am getting nervous for this.

Please don't keep anything that makes me feel I am competitor. I am member of this community and I like to talk here.

I think something that would motivate us. Healing bar sounds great idea. Thanks to those who brought this idea. I see so many agree with us. It has mine yes, too.

It should be something that will say something about member.

Anthony, this is very hard thing to do. Very hard to select. I saw those pictures, I like them all. lol. What do you think?

At last, I would say green healing bar. But this is just my opinion.

Flushed out some more shit out of my brain today.

Off topic, But good work!
On topic, There is one of the examples with toilets. I cracked up.

With my imagination I will go with the majority rule. I feel whatever image that is chosen, which shows positive growth; would work.

I find it rewarding that Anthony has asked our opinion! Reality sets in, JMHO but does he realize the majority in this thread are female.

Is it scientifically probable that due to the difference of male/female emotional structures some might be over thinking the purpose behind the concept.

As noted whatever is decided can be changed as it goes. Some will be disappointed there choice was not selected. Others will find a negative of the concept.

Many moons have passed! Compromising is not being invalidated. It is part of healing. Is it possible to agree to disagree?

Here is my $50 bucks worth. It is not a competition between members. It challenges each person to read, use the tools; adapt from reading others post and acknowledge there is a light at the end of the tunnel for 95% of us. Sadly 5% of us may never medically have that option.

However 2% of the 5% will continue trying to beat the odds. Chances are due to the nature of this Forum they will find healing. Being exposed to positive surroundings is contagious.

It is as equally as possible to use a bar type with images as goals. The bar increases as you heal with more posting, then you get a specific image. That is simple to achieve.

When the bar reaches x, y image appears as like a medal / achievement. The image remains, the bar starts over again. When it reaches its next target, next image appears, and so forth.

Again... nothing is rigid. This is about ideas and possible solutions.

Stage 1 - A running bar graph that is an inbetween for rank images. The first bar works on a 360 post cycle. I've done this to cover something of relevance, which is trying to cater all different healing durations.

For the more fortunate sufferers, by around the 1000+ post mark, you should be adequately doing well. Otherwise, you just like to chat. No issues with that.

Beyond that, you then have the more severe sufferers of PTSD. Basically, within the first 3-4 cycles of 360 posts, images can be shown on the level of basically - You're in the crapper -> finding your way out -> smelling fresh air -> I'm good to go and jump back into life. A basic model of a quick recovery in my words.

Then images can be delivered beyond that for the more severe, which would start something like - you're more severe than you thought -> grounding -> relaxation -> communication -> et cetera... the principles at a more advanced and longevity approach due to the severity of trauma.

That suits what therapy basically works of off, being you treat at the basic level to begin, a 12 week type program, or thereabouts, then for those that aren't responding, more tailored and longevity approaches are taken.

The settings for the staged bars, so you can measure between ranked images, goes like this:

For every 20 posts, for the first 80 posts in the cycle, you get the light green bar. (4x)
For every 30 posts, from 81 - 200 posts in the cycle, you get the mid green bar. (4x)
Then for every 40 posts, from 201 - 360 posts in the cycle, you get the dark green bar. (4x)

At the 361st post, it will reset. At that post count an image is issued (not yet setup). Then, depending on your post count here, as I keep adding images your image will change based on your post count. I will make some type of cut-off, where there is a final image.

Members can keep recommending their images as it all goes, as stated, images can be added inbetween others, et cetera, without any issue. It can be changed at every stage... no limits.

I love that you try to motivate people and that you like to try to incorporate members preferences Anthony. It is obviously something that is important to you.

Just going to express my feelings here - please know that this is just because of my personal issues. Not trying to change anything. I have to be the one to find a way to make it work for me.

I find the idea of rank difficult. It taps into difficult things for me. As does any way of quantifying things for me. Or thinking that one thing, response etc may be seen as more valuable than another.

I have had to work my way past the "like" and award system. On the one hand the likes help me a lot as they make me feel heard which helps my anxiety level and stops me going into feeling I don't exist. On the other hand it taps into my other issues. I have managed to get to a point where I largely just don't look at the figures or amounts and that has helped me. I just notice the "likes" when they come up and that is it. Unfortunately now I can't ignore it as it is right there all the time. On each post.

Not wanting anything from this. Just expressing myself. Unless anyone has some suggestion of a way of looking at this that might help me. that would be helpful. Thanks.

your last post helped a bit.

:) Abstract, You might be gaining more than you realize. Some things take longer for us to acknowledge until "we" believe they are in the now. Until we experience the new possibility.

Your previous post gave me a smile! Most of us came with no directions. It is really helpful to know what helps others. Helpful for us looking for answers to offer up what we need. Thoughts to consider when communicating. Thank You! Whitney
