Hi all, thought this might be helpful for some of us who use iPads, iPhones or android phones. I use a lot of apps that I have found helpful and I'm sure others have their own too. Please post below if you have found anything good.

Couple of quick points from the moderators:

Don't post links to apps
Don't post apps you have an involvement in that's just advertising :-)
Try to keep to specific ptsd/mental health. Some games are good coping/relaxing but I'm aiming to find out about ptsd helpers.

I will kick off with a few. These are either free or just a pound or so.

I regularly use icbt an app which helps with runaway thinking and takes you through the cbt steps in a clear and simple way.

I also use the mindfulness app which contains a range of guided meditations. This helps when anxiety is out of control and can help with sleep.

I use t2 mood tracker daily to monitor symptoms and behaviours. This helps me to see bigger trends in my progress.

I use a DBT skills app sometimes. Not as often as icbt but has good section on distress tolerance.

I use idea sketch to mind map when writing is too hard but I'm trying to see the bigger picture.

Thank you for this thread! T2 mood tracker seems pretty good, shall see if it helps me keep track on how I've been over a few weeks, as my therapist keeps asking and I'm like "I dunno, okay, I guess?"
 
I have the Bhudda's Brain App on my phone and find it brilliant. A very handy quick reference in moments of stress, or a longer read at other times.

I also have a Serenity App, with relaxing images and sounds. Great for getting off to sleep.
 
These apps look good. I did't know there was things around like this.

I do't know much about things like this. Can you get apps for laptops or is it just for phones?
