He had one of those dayglo, but the said he needed a permanent one.

He did try using it again but said it was not giving the support he needed.

Hubby has decided that he want to go back to the hospital tomorrow morning, to ask them to put a new cast on. Well the one he has on is now falling apart.

Got his new cast on, but this time it is a plaster one, and he has had strict instructions not to touch it in any way at all. No adapting it, not taking it off, nothing, just leave it alone.

This will slow him down and keep him quiet now, with any luck.

Hubby had his MRI today and managed it without issue. We even went for a meal after his appointment as he had no anxiety issues afterwards.

He even explained to the guy in there that he had PTSD and was a bit un-easy about it all. The guy understood and took it all slowly with him, putting him at ease.

Follow up appointment has been made for the results, and that is a week on Friday.

This will slow him down and keep him quiet now, with any luck.

No it did not slow him down. Hubby cracked his plaster cast round the wrist today, starting the lawn mower.

I am not taking him back to have it re done again. He will have to tape it up and put up with it until he goes next Friday to see the consultant.

Well he decided to fix it with fibre gladd in his garage, he did a good job of it, until he cracked it again in a different place.

It is now taped up with black duct tape. I have no idea what they will say on Friday when we go back for the MRI results. He has got it into his head that his wrist will need operating on to fix it. He is already planning on how he will manage a stay in there.

Well we have finally found out what is wrong with hubby's wrist this morning.

He has torn the scaphoid ligaments, which means in a fresh cast for the next 4 to 8 weeks at least.

Oh well at least now we know.
