He wants to die. He says I'm the only reason he stays. What do I do? He's in therapy, has a psychiatrist, on meds. Do I let him go?

I have PTSD, but I don't think he has PTSD. I really have no clue what to do. I hate this.I take it your a carer/partner of a PTSD sufferer?
What does this mean? What permission does he need from you?Do I let him go?

Totally agree with all that @Lucycat has replied. And totally agree with all previous posts. I went around loosely blaming others for my actions and convincing myself for so many years that it was other people faults the way I was reacting. What I now know only too well is that I was in control of my actions. AS my own mantra goes "I know what this is. This is MY anxiety and I am in control of THEM and not THEY in control of ME". What I am saying is that he needs to realize that he makes his choices whether they be right or wrong and he needs to accept responsibility for them.It sounds as if he should be having a discussion with his therapist or psychiatrist. If he wont do it then maybe you will have to. It is not fair that he is passing the buck...
