I know this isn't easy for any of you.... Focus on yourself, your kids and the dog. If he can't put himself out there for just a bit, then I say don't bother with him right now. yes, we may have PTSD, but sometimes we need to just push past our BS and be there for those who need us. Only when the sufferer is truly down and out is that an excuse. Otherwise, I think we owe it to ourselves and those that we love to push past our fears in order to TRY to be supportive in a time of need. (But hey, maybe that's just me....)
