    For men only

When I was 15 and first started becoming self conscious about this, I would really often notice a little kid walking behind their mother and I'm walking past them in the opposite direction. The mother sees me so I observe to see how she reacts. The mothers never paid any attention to me and keep...

Does anyone get triggered by the news and world events?

No, it should really be called The Bad News because there isn't a whole lot of good news in there. They just hyperfocus in on the bad events in the world and ignore the good ones, giving an impression to viewers that the world is a dark and unsafe place. Selling people fear.

    For men only

No, most of the time it's not real, its just a paranoia. I observe peoples body language and rarely if ever do they give off signs of being suspicious of me. Actually it does happen when I'm in a low or anxious state and I'd be walking past a mother with their kid and the kid is walking behind...

How to Deal With Knowing I Deserved It?

When someone gets mugged on the street, is it their fault because they were on the street? Or their fault because they handed the money over without putting up a fight? Or maybe their fault that they looked vulnerable enough for the mugger to target them? If the person didn't consciously choose...

Neurofeedback: anyone else doing, done it or curious?

Does it give you a measure of your healing process? Like for example, if you're processing EMDR trauma, can you use neurofeedback to give you an idea of how it is healing you overall?

    Forgiving ourselves...

I have this issue to a fairly extreme extent atm. I was on drugs for a long time and taking the path of least resistance in life, the guilt and shame of that is near unbearable. I can resolve it to some extent by every day listening to myself and challenging myself, doing my best to grow through...

    For men only

I've had that thing where I tense up and won't even look at kids cuz there's this fear at the back of my head that people perceive me as a potential predator when in reality I couldn't ever be a predator, I got way too much empathy and compassion.

The Criminal Sexual Sadist (Includes Information On Compliant Victims)

My God, I knew this was gonna be disturbing based on the title but I had to go and read the whole thing anyway. I wonder are they born this way or does something happen to them along the way which makes them become like this.

What drugs have helped your anxiety?

I can tell you LOADS of substances which alleviate anxiety for me, the only thing is most of them (actually maybe none of them) don't work as long term solutions. Anyhow, I'll give you a list: Kava: This is very mild but it works and it is non addictive and relatively sustainable. Its banned in...

    Back from the dead

Last year I was in a state of psychosis, I believed I was eternally doomed, I had all these beliefs and concepts which made it so it was impossible to find any solution with my mind. I got heavily addicted to all kinds of drugs. I had a bunch of seizures trying to get off xanax too fast. I went...

    Experience with wellbutrin withdrawal?

My brother was on wellbutrin for years and says it was easy to get off it. I was on the maximum dose of dexedrine (its different but has some similarities, like boosting dopamine activity) for 7 years and getting off it wasn't really bad at all.

Trazodone, losing time, and do i need to go to the hospital?

I was on trazodone for a few months. It causes massive brain fog and cognitive issues. They wear off when you stop taking the trazodone. Mirtazapine, amitryptiline, I tried them too and they do the same thing. Do you take fish oil?

Lsd, mushrooms, san pedro, ayahuasca, dmt

Can you elaborate a bit on your experience? I went completely numb two years ago. I should mention that entheogens are only one aspect of this healing path. Meditation and breathwork are absolutely essential, I'd most likely be dead if I didn't start meditating. Which entheogens were you using...

Lsd, mushrooms, san pedro, ayahuasca, dmt

Yeah I was thinking about this as I wrote the thread. For some people it would be really dangerous. Its a bit like EMDR in the sense that anything can surface and it can be a struggle to get through it. This is whats working for me though so I have to share my experience. I feel like I have...

Entheogens are not for everyone, taking them while carrying deep trauma, it can be a horrifying experience. In my experience these dark experiences are the ones that help us the most. Going into entheogens with the intent of healing trauma, in my experience this is a deeply powerful healing tool...
