Sufferer I'm new.... just wanted to introduce myself & connect

Hi there my name is Amy and I am a complex PTSD diagnosed agoraphobic and a severe panic disorder person in my early 50's. I am new here and want to be able to connect with others and hopefully find the support I need to be able to find my way through the loneliness in life....I don't know if it's normal or not to not feel like anyone in my life understands me but here I am...to share and continue with hope and maybe make a couple of friends here... I live in the Pacific Northwest, 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren....just looking for people to connect with...

Welcome! Unfortunately it's very normal for people who haven't been through trauma to not understand why it leaves someone ... different? like they're not themselves anymore.

i'm gonna side step that scary n-word and say that it a predominant ptsd symptom. normal? that's a setting on my washing machine, isn't it?
