Do you have a key that looks something like this?
This button turns off my trackpad and hides the cursor. It took me ages to figure out why my mouse cursor would randomly disappear. It carries over from a reboot too.
I was reinstalling the trackpad driver every time it happened until I...
There's something I wanted to mention in light of the delays in aid from the US government amid politicising and bipartisan nonsense.
While it is disheartening to see that the leaders of a country are too busy bickering about unrelated interests rather than doing something to help those they...
I had to take a trip to the shops earlier this morning. It was actually super quiet, no traffic, no crowds, the store actually had TP :o At the cash till there were 3 of us in line, none of us bought TP, the guy behind me kept a good 5' gap between us. The only thing out of place was the cashier...
I'll keep it super brief, unless someone else wants to start a separate political Covid-19 thread as Friday suggested.
Look up the part about abortion in the US Coronavirus Aid Bill. You can't miss it.
This.
If you have to go out, remember to wash your hands, avoid touching your face, avoid crowds, ect, ect. Nothing you haven't been told a million times already I'm sure. It really does help.
I've been noticing something interesting here. As I think @Sideways (and probably a few other...
I think the Apple store thing isn't so bad. Those are crowded on a good day and no one really needs to go into one. They don't sell food, shelter or clothing.
If they start talking about places that carry necessities, then I'll start worrying. Though it is still a little disconcerting.
Having worked in grocery stores, when they put limits on fast moving highly desired items, it's not uncommon for people to come in as a group, but have each person buy the limit as separate transactions. I've even seen people do this in a revolving door fashion. Meaning they literally take the...
If you're referring to that guy in LA suspected of being f'ed up on bath salts, who was shot dead after eating a homeless man?
His toxicology report stated he wasn't on bath salts, he was just f*cking nuts.
@lostforgottensoul I don't know. From what I've seen on the news, they don't know why they're buying it. It seems to be the "lemmings" phenomena.
"Look! Everyone's buying lots of toilet paper. We better get some too!"
@somerandomguy Realistically, yeah probably best to avoid people, especially since other peoples kids are usually adorable little germ factories. Swimming pool might be alright though, (and I swear to God I'm not trying to start shit) the heavy chlorination in a pool might make it safer to...
Everyone is going nuts here in Alberta. It's such a joke.
Oh God! You can't fly to the US from Mainland Europe! Quick fellow Canadians, start freaking the f*ck out! Run into crowded areas and fight over more f*cking Toilet Paper! Don't bother with food kids! Get that f*cking 3ply pillow soft...
Ok. To the panic buying sheep:
Stop with the f*cking toilet paper already. Jesus Christ.
You know how ridiculous it is to see people walk past the food to get to the toilet paper?
You know that in order to wipe shit off your ass, you need to eat food to make the shit right?
What exactly do you...
@somerandomguy I think it's probably for the best. I'm just glad they're taking it seriously.
Having seen some of the CT and x-rays of people who have died from respiratory damage, all I can say is damn.
I'd hate to see a triage protocol put in place from a totally overwhelmed health care...
I just heard something interesting. Apparently an Australian newspaper has begun including several blank pages in the paper, so people won't run out of toilet paper.
I was just imagining a worst case scenario that would make a frozen dinner a bad idea as a survival food. That's all, I didn't say I thought it would happen.
For the sake of clarity.
The wipes are from a company that stocks large companies with approved cleaning products with an MSDS reference binder. This is mostly for cost and legal purposes, so nobody can sue about an allergen, or fragrance sensitivity when the only product used is X.
Said wipes...
I'm really not understanding what your problem with me is about this. If the guy was using the product properly, I wouldn't have had a problem.
Why are you jumping on me about this? Of all things, this. My post is not the first one on this thread to mention the misuse of bleach as a...
@The Albatross I'm not talking about a made for human contact product, rather an industrial cleaner. It comes with an MSDS document that states clearly to avoid contact with skin. It's a corrosive, it will burn you.
I didn't say people shouldn't use appropriate products that contain chlorine...
