I got... a pooping chicken!!!!! :p Hours of endless fun :roflmao:

Plus... something that I desperately wanted - a beautiful notebook. I wanted to start writing down things to remember - from how I felt at certain times and how to deal with it with hindsight, to how much fun we had eating pumpkin pie and watching a cheesy movie on Halloween. And now I have somewhere to put it all! The pages have inspirational quotes on them too. Heaven! :happy:

I have listened non-stop to the sleep/relaxation CD that I received since Sat night. I feel so at peace and happy! What an astounding gift! My CD player does this automatically, for 12 hours at a shot, unless it is interrupted, which is so nice!

My SURVIVOR bracelette is so appropriate in so many ways. I've survived being homeless for three years back in the mid 2000s. I survived rapes. I AM A SURVIVOR!

My basket is good for keys when I don't have them in my pocket.

My mug with the phrase "Keep Calm and Carry On" meant a lot to me the past couple of days. I had to just have clear fluids for 2 days prior to a medical procedure today. That mug was washed a lot, and used, and read. It was burned into my mind this morning while I waited at the hospital and I got through it. Thank You for that.

I love the flower -- it will brighten my day and will be a lasting reminder of your kindness and of good times, sunshine, laughter and joy! Nibbling the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups will make me quite happy, too! :joyful: And the socks (love them) and the gloves will make me feel warm and cozy. :) Also, can't wait to bake! And sip some chocolate milk... and and and... soooooooooo many things!

Hi Britt,

I know a few people posted that they are waiting to open their gifts. A couple of people are at school and their gifts were sent home and a couple others posted that they wanted to wait until Christmas to open them. I am sure they will post when they have opened their gifts. :)
