@StrongerNow, it's a gift exchange for Christmas among members who have signed up for it. You draw another person's name (Nicolette does that for us; she collects postal addresses and will assign a person to you) and will send a gift to them by post. Your name is also drawn by another member and they will send you a gift. The gift givers will remain secret so you're not to know who gave you your gift. :) It's fun! There are some old threads you could look at if you wanted to. They all have "Kris Kringle" in the title, so you can do a search easily.

Just to be clear: By "member" I do not mean member of the forum, but person who signed up for the Kris Kringle event this year. :)

And I manage them with confidentiality. The concept is to 'ideally' send to someone out of the country so international parcels are received and also to therefore reduce the risk of any other issues. Some same country gifts are sent as there is a heavy US presence but I would not swap addresses with members in the same state.

Your address will only be entrusted to one member in confidence (all members I have vetted to the best of my ability from their participation on this site) and I do not retain the addresses.
