Hi there,

I am not sure if this is the right place. If not, please let me know. I can post it in a different section.

I am having a therapy. After several months' work, I am improving. However, I am miles away from full recovery. My question is how I can make sure that I am on the right track of this long road. Please tell me what you think may work and how it is supposed to work.

I don't know if someone has asked this question already. If this is the case, please kindly point me to that thread.

Many thanks.

Eileen

I wish there was an definitive answer to your question. My answer would be that if it feels like you're improving - you're less symptomatic, with fewer episodes of dissociation, anxiety, flashbacks, or however your PTSD tends to manifest - then you're probably on the right track.

The best person to ask this question, honestly, is probably your therapist. That is the person guiding you out of PTSD hell. They should be able to tell you what they think.
