......tends to trigger me as my body reads the elevated heart rate as the same as being assaulted. If I build up my physical stamina, it's not so bad, but even sustained heightened heart rate is enough to have me double over with nausea like climbing stairs.
Is misery.

So just to be clear how do you get from this...

I find that it regulates the intake of air more, & when you do alternating nostril breathing, it helped me slip into a meditative state faster. Also, when disregulated, inhaling through the mouth is shorter, sharper and sometimes far too deep which can trigger me.

to this..

or are these different activities?

Being lost in piano playing is nice
note to self. Tune damn piano and learn how to sight read properly.......:rolleyes::notworthy:

I really like early morning walks along lakes and reserves where you can hear the little frogs an animals having their morning chatterbox, and dawn is only just touching the edges of the sky. It's taken me 20 years to get over being terrified of the dark, now I view it as a soft velvet blanket and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I've also discovered knitting & crocheting - so that's something I'd like to start up again as a mindfulness activity.
Come unravel me in a week, will you? :hungover::hilarious:

Has anyone tried rollerblading? I just found a pair in a preloved store - I reckon I might go wrap myself around a tree on em.......:shifty::playful::blackeye:Or the dog might just take me waterskiing chasing ducks.........I've always wanted to try that.

I had lessons and everything..rollerblading.. but only because my son's were too young to be unaccompanied for their lessons:oops:.

The teacher had to 'abandon' me to keep up with the boys whilst I sat under a palm tree and pretended I preferred that. :p I couldn't stay upright but not because I was drunk..:sorry:

At the end of the course the instructor offered me 'remedial' lessons. :roflmao::giggle::giggle::giggle: No!!

I treadmill and watch big screen TV every night. Last night.. I was super stressed so an hour and a half. My house is quiet all the time ( I have to live that way) Not big on places or scenery. But lf I'm with someone I trust i do. But think about the time all the time.
