So how does nasal breathing address this for you? I have tried nasal breathing, when I was a teenager, and I wasn't able to stick with it.

I find that it regulates the intake of air more, and when you do alternating nostril breathing, it helped me slip into a meditative state faster. Also, when disregulated, inhaling through the mouth is shorter, sharper and sometimes far too deep which can trigger me.So how does nasal breathing address this for you?

......tends to trigger me as my body reads the elevated heart rate as the same as being assaulted. If I build up my physical stamina, it's not so bad, but even sustained heightened heart rate is enough to have me double over with nausea like climbing stairs.
