any experience with beta blockers for fast heart rate?

The propranolol had great heart rate control, but way too many side effects: fatigue, muscle weakness, memory and concentration issues, and changes to my cycle, all contributing to anemia, tendonitis, and falls. So 2-ish months in, my doctor switched me to metoprolol. This one has been better for side effects, but not great for rate control, with tachycardia and palpitations several times daily. So I'm weaning off the beta blocker, and hoping the tachycardia and irregularity are tolerable. It already snowing here so it's much cooler, and while I've been tachy, I haven't had any SVT. I'm hoping that this side effect ultimately is temporary, and will be gone over the winter.

i used to take atenenol , it helped me i think , but what do i know, i dont like taking anything , now im stuck taking eloquis and for how long i dont know

I took atenolol and it gave me homicidal ideation that scared the shit out of me. Its a rare reaction but when. I called the pharmacy they knew exactly what was happening.
So now I have a naturopath who gives me a tincture that works way better

Wow, see i could tell the difference between 2 different pharm companies that made it, i even showed the pharmacist who told me because of different chemicals added, this could be why your having issues, once i was able to find the correct he knew to always get me that
