I am the first-born. I have one younger sister.

I can do nothing right, she can do nothing wrong. . .

firstborn here, but an interesting twist is that my intro to trauma was the death of my mother and the introduction of a completely new life that had absolutely no links to the previous one, including time to mourn or even maintain a part of her prescence in my life. Part of the new deal was a stepsister 6 months older and another 6 months younger, so I went from oldest child to middle child like overnight.

I am the middle child and I always played peacemaker in the family.

I am the first born and the only girl. Have twin brothers that are two years younger and another brother that is five years younger. I have always seen it as my job to protect them but being the oldest I had no one to look out for me.

My father left when I was 5. I first experienced panic attacks from the age of 6 onwards (34 and a half now and only just diagnosed last year with PTSD). I raised my littlest sister myself as by then my mother had lost complete interest in everything but her alcohol and rage. I struggled from 11-18 as the sole 'parent' of all three siblings. Cheers 'mom', keep having babies for me to raise :dead: sadly yet luckily for me, the last one was aborted (very sad for their sole, but probably saved me from an even younger childhood breakdown than I had :cry:).

I'm the baby of the family, my sister is 4 years older and my brother (who died when he was 8 days old) was 5 years older. I was mom's favorite and my sister was dad's favorite.

For my mother, I was the third child. For my father, I was his first. But my mom died when I was 2, and my dad didn't raise me.

I am the 4th of nine children. 2nd daughter. One of 5 daughters and 4 sons. Only 10 and 1/2 years between the oldest and youngset, all single births.

I am the oldest. I was the scapegoat. I was the little parent and got in trouble for what my three other siblings did. I resented it.
