It has been very hard for me to find other survivors of an ATV accident and I would love to connect with someone who has experienced what I have. So if there is anyone out there please reach out I would love to hear your story and how you are coping, and also talk about an issue that's close to my heart which is ATV safety.

@KP the nut All Terrain Vehicle. Sometimes also known as a 4-wheeler (although some only have 3 wheels, the 3s have been outlawed in a lot of places because the steering is notorious for locking up, causing a lot of fatality crashes). In all cases built for off-road. ATVs are to Cars, what Dirtbikes are to Motorcycles. Also very similar to snow-mobiles or jet skis. Just for dry land instead of snow or water.

This is a picture of one similar to the one I had my accident on. They are vehicles that at this time don't have any safety standards for ego can drive them, meaning no license or course needed to operate. They are very dangerous if not used by a person with experience.

hi i know im very late to this conversation. but i am also a survivor an a serious ATV accident. idk if you'd still like to talk

It has been 3 1/2 years since my near fatal ATV accident. I sustained major damage to my chest with over 15 broken ribs, a heart contusion, a punctured lung and a severely separated shoulder. My body has healed for the most part however I now experience anxiety which was never part of who I was prior to the accident. Please reach out if you may still wish to talk. :-)
