I was really happy having succeeded (not first, but generally speaking)! Usually, if ever, I will figure it out way too late. :confused: Have trouble with taking things literally...

Numbers don't turn into a letter answer, but more the paragraph on the first page actually has some numbers written in letter and roman numeral form, which must be converted to numerical as per the question states.

A search of that complete number here then returned a single result, showing another clue (been removed now), which led to another page where you had to construct the numbers in sequence, except this time it was only numbers, however; some of those numbers where reference points which could be missed.

When you had that number, a search here would give you the link to enter the first as the username, the second as the password, and the person would have the codeword.

Thank you, gizmo! Feels very good! :D I love hunts like this and did as a kid too. That was a hell of a lot of fun yesterday! :D But I had to go back and forth between instructions and what I'd found, felt more like a dog sniffing away than a Miss Marple.
