Hello Everyone

I have been suffering and running from Ptsd my whole life. Long story short it caught up with me a few years ago. It controls me. Ptsd caused me a vacation in the hospital. I am on a cocktail of meds to get through my days and just looking for others like myself for a little validation and comfort. :Hug_emoticon:

It's the best place you could wish for, for both of those. If you're like pretty much like every one, it's even somewhat tough to come here to address this thing sometimes but so worthwhile.

"I have been suffering and running from Ptsd my whole life." I can so relate to your statement. I am new to the site. I endured daily abuse as a child and sporadic abuse since , so its only now at 52 ,that I have a great therapist that my life has gotten measurably better. Med's are also part of the program. I tend to hermit myself away. But on the other side of the coin a year of applied work with a therapist has brought me to research the web for support, and thats a good thing. I couldnt ask for a more awesome site. Welcome :)
