IntoTheLight just made me aware of this thread. I am definitely interested in joining the group. I live in Minnesota. I am available for retreats as well as online chats. I'm Deaf though, so I am not sure how useful or what kind of a barrier the A/V system would be or the physical meetings would be. I would definitely give it a try.

We had our first "meeting" last night. The cameras were great, the audio wasn't. Most of us turned off our mics, so you will be good to go. We just want your mug, if you want to show it. :cool:

Yup, count me in. I'm on the south side of Chicago. The point about getting triggered in "real life" is a good one, but maybe being triggered around fellow PTSDers wouldn't be so bad. I feel safer and more understood around some of you guys than anywhere else. And hell, if meeting in person is traumatizing, it's just one more to add to the list :)

I'm happy to share my mug. It would be easier if I knew what a mug is. :unsure: All I found in the dictionary was a cup. I have some very cute ASL cup, if that's right. Sorry for being a freak!

When will the next meeting be? I will be there online or in person. Meeting in person sounds great, kind of like the PTSD conference that is in chit chat.
