Thanks all for replying with your fun ideas. I love to color/draw too. And, Nimkekaa, I've forgotten about jumping in puddles, probably because my folks forbade us from doing that. So, next time I've got my boots on and I see a puddle, I'm there! (I won't make my dog do it, though; she's so funny, she always walks around a puddle.)

You know what I miss (which is probably very out-dated now)...I miss jumping rope double-dutch style when I and the other jumpers sang those schoolyard songs.

Jump on!

Hug trees.
Walk through a meadow in spring and pick a flower here and there.
Watch the birds in the sky (preferably not while crossing a street :D)
Read children's books (latest purchase: "Love Monster" by Rachel Bright)
Go to the playground and do everything you like (preferably "fly" on the swing) when the sun sets or in the early morning hours
Watch The Peanuts and Wallace & Gromit, Pixar stuff too
Read cartoons and don't worry about reading each and every bubble
Before you watch a dvd, fix a bowl with your favorite ice cream, favorite sauce, favorite toppings and then devour while watching that movie
Write postcards to friends just with one sentence like "love you" and draw things, too
Origami
Sing while going for a walk (make sure not too many people are around)
Play Chinese Firefighters
Close your eyes and go on an imaginary trip wherever you like
Get "Succulent Wild Women" by SARK and actually do one of the things she mentions every time you read in it or flip through the pages

For my kids, I used to cover the table with shaving cream and let them have at it. I used to make home made play dough and they made all kinds of things. Blowing bubbles. Making forts out of pillows, chairs, and blankets and fill it up with necessity. Put up a tent and camp out, Having tea parties is the tree house. Lots of great ideas here on this thread. Lots of fun.

I second the blanket tent idea!

and Kite Flying! Frisbee playing. If at the beach - playing in waves (racing them in and out)

If you have a stream/creek, or just water running down the side of the street - a good round or ten of "pooh sticks" is always fun!

On the more elaborate end: decorating cookies.
On the easier end: finding animals etc. in clouds...
Running through all the animal songs you know (the Gnu is a favorite, and can be appropriately sung to adults and children alike!)
