@cactus_jack
You might like to consider one or two points
I have no intention of paying protection money* to the murderous and terroristic gang that's visible end is based in the District of Criminals,
and I have zero intention in participating in its scams games and terrorism#
That doesn't stop it from tapping my communications, keeping files on me, claiming a right to summarily kill me and my loved ones on the basis of "metadata", overflying me armed with nukes (I live near enough to the town of Lockerbie and to bombing ranges)
I don't automatically connect people who live within lines drawn on a map, with gangs. You are not a serf or slave of that gang if you choose not to be
You had more choices in that election than you seem to be realising
How does one person oppress 30 people, let alone 300,000,000 people?
It is quite simple - they have to let themselves be oppressed
A lot of them, and it looks like you are still one of them, never even realise what's going on
And I don't blame you. Enough of us here have taken a long time to wake up to abuse that's a lot closer to home than the District of Criminals is.
You've been raised from birth to accept it. Every hour you watch TV or listen to the radio, you are subjected to "approved" news stories, telling you how much you need the gang to protect you from the people next door, from your own choices, from the crisis du jour
This video gets the point accross very well, even though it is fictional
00V for Vendetta-why they need us.avi
You have a choice of not playing the gang's game - of withdrawing your consent
The book that I linked in my reply to Sophie's Dad, explains very well, that there is no need to lay hands on a tyrant (ie, use violence) simply withdraw your consent, and like a mighty statue that the plinth has been pulled out from under him, he will will fall to the ground and smash, just as surely as if he had been pushed.
It works, that book was used as the basis of Gandhi's campaign to de legitimise the Imperial rule in India
you are free to trot out all of the tired old mainstream bromides about how wrong and dangerous human freedom is, and how slavery is truly freedom, and why ignorance is really wisdom,
I've heard them all before, like you, i grew up immersed in them. They're all fallacious.

* Tax is protection Money, it's not like you are choosing to buy a service that you want, it's a gang telling you to pay them, what they demand, or they'll hurt you.
You'll probably reply with some variation of the Hobbesian myth that without a ruler to keep us all in awe, we'd be in a condition of nature consisting of a war of all against all, and that human life would be nasty, short and brutish...
#Scams, games and terrorism.
Take a look at the structure of a Ponzi scheme, Carlo Ponzi went to prison for his, Bernie Madoff killed himself before he got to court for his. Neither one of them ever coerced anyone into participating.
Now look at the structure of state sector pension schemes and national insurance schemes, that you are forced to participate in. There might be an illusion of assets but government bonds are only promises to tax productive people more at some point in the future.
They're Ponzi schemes, and like all Ponzi schemes, they're inherently unstable, and will collapse. Leadership? No, it's criminality on a grand scale.
Fiat money, oh but your money is "backed by gold"... No it isn't, and hasn't been since LBJ suspended redemption, then tricky dicky "closed the gold Window" , Remember the story of jack and the beanstalk and jack selling the cow to a swindler for some magic beans? Fiat money is even worse.
Terrorism, check out operation Gladio. It came out i about 1990 that All of the supposed leftwing terrorism in Europe from the late sixties onwards, came out of NATO headquarters.
Incidentally, why do gubbernmints say that people who work for them are entitled to kill other people, beat them, cage them, torture them....?
Just a little selection, there's plenty more problems caused by the gangs that we call gubbernmints, and plenty more examples
