I think what I feel is the amazement at the awesomeness, and sweetness, and generousness, of a God who -like the woman with the lost coins- found the missing one and threw a party that cost more of the value of the coin she re-found. So I feel grateful and pretty amazed God can love (even me) that much. That he returns or lavishes generosity, and is so sweet and unbounded, when I don't feel of that worth.

Like God is happier to see me, than I am to see me!

I believe tho I cannot see. Is that the same as faith? I don't know that I have much faith and it worries me.

Paraphrasing just to add, I read St Mary Magdalene was a person who proclaimed life from death. And that she showed that (quoting), sometimes in our lives, tears are the lenses we need to see Jesus. And it said, 'Apostle of hope, pray for us'.

So I think I know why she reached out to me, I do feel not the other way around. :notworthy' ??

Watching Joyce Meyer this morning. So many good messages about seeking the mercy of God to heal us in our broken places. Letting Him into our secrets so that we can heal and move forward in life in a healthier and more joyful way.

Today's entry in my devotional tells me to turn over my need to control, schedule and tie up details to God to control my day. Huh? My inner process-oriented self is losing her mind. I know that I make it worse the more I fret over details and try to control outcomes, but..... Can anyone relate?!

Romans 12:12 Seeing just what I need to see today in my devotional. Hope is to be my North Star right now. Hope will keep my head up and my feet moving forward one step after another. It will help me reframe my thinking and feelings so that I don't give up or drown as I go through this time of troubles over and again. Keeping my eyes on the prize of being in Heaven at the end of my journey and walking in faith with the Lord as the path twists and winds.
