2 Chronicles 20:20-22 New Living Translation (NLT)
20 Early the next morning the army of Judah went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. On the way Jehoshaphat stopped and said, “Listen to me, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.”

21 After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:

“Give thanks to the Lord;
his faithful love endures forever!”

22 At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.

This reminds me of the time that one of my abusers put his karate foot up to my neck and threatened to kill me! I calmly prayed to God that I was ready to die and be with Him forever. God spoke to me in a silent voice and said that my time had not yet come. Then, amazingly, the man who threatened me, started to hit himself in the face and laugh. It all defused then, and I was also able to run away from him successfully the day after that all happened. I had been with him for years before, trying to escape from him all that time. Finally, (I was a new Christian at that time) I got away successfully! God is the worker of miracles!

Speaking of miracles, my best friend had cancer. She had 5 tumors. I prayed and prayed for her, as did my pastor and her whole church too. Well, the cancer disappeared! It is completely gone and no surgery was needed! God is good!

I personally, have a slightly different view of Jesus that I would like to share...

I see him taking action against the money lenders in the church and running them out of dodge. This is the Jesus I can get behind, he does not sit on the sidelines passively and say "oh, it's okay", instead, he stands up against what he believes is wrong and says, "Get out!!!!"

I think this is a view of Jesus wherein he takes action against things that are clearly wrong; he "cleans house" and 'gets things done'!!!

I do not mean to be antagonistic in any way, Jesus was certainly a teacher of love and patience, but I think there is a time and place to sit quietly by and also a time to kick arse!!!

Thank you for allowing me to share my viewpoint.

nstead, he stands up against what he believes is wrong and says, "Get out!!!!"

And then when they don't, he just gets them out, making history. Jerusalem Temple needed the cleansing, so did the citizens need a reminder holy isn't in corruption, and there's far more than material and established rules one can do for humanity.

I'm with you, @Lionheart777.

From Jesus Calling - November 26th

"This is the day that I have made! As you rejoice in this day of life, it will yield up to you precious gifts and beneficial training. Walk with Me along the high road of thanksgiving and you will find all the delights I have made ready for you."

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Hoping we all experience blessings today on this day of giving thanks. VB

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, Sorry I have not been here in awhile. Here is a verse I hope you all will like:

"Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts."
Colossians 3:16 New Living Translation

Well, I put up my Christmas Tree this morning. I bought a new one, because my old one kept leaning over to one side. This one is good.

Do you plan to put up a Christmas Tree this year?
