Has anybody been put on anti-anxiety medication only to find the reduction in anxiety is actually anxiety provoking? Does it ever feel like anxiety is so much a part of you that it feels wrong when it is reduced or missing?
I'm not on anti-anxiety medication, but have experienced not having the major source of my anxiety to deal with anymore. I feel so different without the stress of that job, but I think I get what you're saying. It can bring up other issues. Being stuck in survival mode and then free from it is disorienting for me anyway.
