Hello, I do not know whether this is the right place to post this but, i am in a relationship with someone that has PTSD, and i as well have it. I have talked about this in the main chat, but just wanted some other people's feedback. I have been with my boyfriend for 6 months and within those months was so much confusion for me. There were days where he would ignore me, pretend that my texts were invisible, and just forget that i was there. However there were days where he would spam me with love messages about how he is so lucky to have me and loves me so much. In the past he has mentioned that he does have commitment issues and i understood. But he also said that he would be working on them in fear of losing me, and that made me happy, but that only lasted for a little until it died out. Now he is starting up with the awkwardness and ignoring me, and it breaks my heart because i have been there for him so many times before and i don't understand what i did to deserve this. I just need some feedback from anyone really, im just confused at what to do. Thank you to all that are taking the time to read all of this.

50/50 I feel honestly. Sounds mostly like it could be the PTSD flaring up or even sometimes my wife even has done things that trigger past trauma or something relative to it even and I will hold it for a day or two without explaining why I haven't talked. However everyone is different as is every relationship. I have a fine line between needing help and feeling crowded. But with ANY relationship, COMMUNICATION! I'm a tough guy to pry stuff out of but married 9+ years and I'm getting better at expressing myself but it's still difficult! No one wants to risk hurt feelings but yours for him seem genuine so simply talk, don't text, calling works but with these kinds of conversations that need to happen I find work better when you can see a person's facial expressions so you can get a better feeling of how they're feeling. Best of luck to you guys!
