Hi I Am From India and Have CPTSD OCD Depression. I want to reach out to anyone who is hoping for Co-Counselling.
Hello, I want to extend a warm welcome to you here at myptsd.com. I'm glad you're reaching out for support and connection. You're not alone in your struggles with CPTSD, OCD, and depression. This peer-to-peer community is a great place to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges.

Many members here have their own experiences with these conditions and can offer empathy, understanding, and support. Feel free to share your story and engage with others in the forums. It can be incredibly comforting to connect with people who truly understand what you're going through.

If you find that you need additional support, I also encourage you to seek help from a mental health professional. Remember, you deserve to receive the care and support that can help you on your healing journey.

Within the forums on myptsd.com, you may find specific sections dedicated to topics related to CPTSD, OCD, and depression. Exploring these areas might provide you with even more relevant information and support. Take care of yourself, and I hope you find the connection and healing you are looking for here.

hello ishu. welcome to the forum. are you familiar with "therapy peer support?" therapy peer support has been the mainstay of my own psychotherapy. professional support has been very helpful in my own recovery, but pros are like library books. they are full of valuable information, but they never leave the library. my therapy peers are the ones who help me understand that esoteric information and learn ways to ply it to the big, bad world outside the therapy offices. this website is only one node in my therapy support network. life gets messy and it pays to diversify. having more than one source of support gives me a far greater chance of finding the support i need, when i need it.

but that is me and every case is unique.

steadying support while you find your own healing path. i hope you find stabilizing companionship here.

I would love to try that. I just read A Book On CPTSD by Pete Walker and I came here. Can you tell me how to be a member of the Therapy Peer Support.?

i build my therapy support networks, both pro and peer, more than i join them. i have built such networks in north america, south america and europe. they are strictly personal. you won't find them on any publication. by my own logic, you are already a member because you are in search of healing. seek and ye shall find. you are already on your way.

the 12 step groups, such as AA and al-anon are my mother lode. i have been able to find them in every country i have lived in. the members of these communities are typically active in a wide variety of other groups and resources. one link leads to another. just keep stepping. be gentle with yourself and patient with the process.

You already are - welcome aboard!

You’ll find it helpful to read the Community Constitution, which outlines what this place is about, how it ticks and the role of peer support.

Be aware, peer support here is provided by posting in threads. We do not have any private messaging facility for members, and we do not allow advertising or self-promotion for other services.
