Oh, happy day! Just heard from my attorney. All is well. Turns out that when the agency I had the deadline with says "miss this deadline and we will take serious action" what they really mean is "miss this deadline two or three months in a row and we will take serious action".

OMG, I just want to run out into the street and kiss the first stranger I see.

I wasn't sure what time your meeting was, just watching for a new post. I'm so thankful that your mind can get a bit of rest. You've been flooded for so long now. "Checked out" in simple words.

Please try some self-care today (& tomorrow). Give yourself permission to let down and rest. You deserve it.

For many of us, this is our real life. At least the safest life we have. That's important.

Of course I'm proud of you! That was a huge hurdle to work through. Very frightening. I would want to run the opposite direction.
