I'm still working on it for now but I'll certainly let you know if I do find something that helps. I did order a white noise machine so hopefully that'll work. I have noticed that having the washing machine going when I go to bed helps cover up the extra noises but that's just because my washing machine is on the other side of the wall my bed is next to. And it's not crazy loud but it's loud enough to distract me while I'm trying to sleep though obviously if I wake up later on in the night/morning I'm kinda screwed on that level. The water bill certainly increases though which is unfortunate. As sad as it is I also keep a bunch of knives strapped all over the place throughout my room and strategically through the rest of the house which helps my piece of mind a bit. Especially if I'm taking a shower I don't know why I think it's more likely someone will break in while I'm showering but my paranoia believes it. I'm sorry that you're dealing with similar issues though it's really no fun feeling this way at all.
