Experience with wellbutrin withdrawal?

The first time I stopped taking it it was the name brand and I had zero symptoms. I was in the best days of my life and everything was roses for a couple decades! No withdrawal. I actually felt clearer and happy. Two decades later and I've had severe relapse of PTSD (which sucks, I hate it) so I tried wellbutrim again to help. I have no idea if was helping or not but I think not since I went into melt down/SI recently. So I just quit taking it since I was in hyper vigilance, terror, guilt cycles that the med. was obviously not helping me. So far I have no idea if I am having withdrawal. I don't think I am-- Sorry this is no help is it?

As far as I understand, I didn't really experience withdrawal. I was already fatigued prior to stopping the med, and if I hadn't been that fatigued I imagine I would have been successful with discontinuing it. At least I know for the future that withdrawal won't really be an issue for me.

Of all the antidepressants I've been on, the only ones that did exactly nothing were Wellbutrin and Remeron. It was like taking sugar pills. I had no reactions to stopping either one of them, though I'm pretty sure I tapered both of them.

Lmao, us Canadian think alike :)

But you can’t take it with another antidepressant because it produces serotonin.
