Flashbacks And Dissociation

I've been having flashbacks, the re-experiencing, think you're there again kind. They are on and off all night long. The to top that off, I dissociate and think I'm a child again. I have no memory of thinking I'm a child, but my therapist has witnessed it. I was wondering if anyone else experiences these symptoms. I don't think I'm another person when I dissociate, but I do think I'm back in time. Strange, if you ask me. Also, is there anyone who can give me an experience of a medication that has helped them with flashbacks? I'm about to lose my mind.

In flashbacks, it is going back in time. We go back in a flash. I was always me - but in the past. Trauma experiences.

No legit meds ever helped me. Illegal meds exacerbated it. hopefully your T can help. Perhaps others have known meds to help although - how would you know? Even if you took meds and the flashbacks stopped forever, you wouldn't know if it was coincidental.

Somatic Therapy and mindful meds have helped me most.

Hi secret, my name is Paris. I also dissociate, and go back to my younger childhood self. It is an awful experience because instead of not being able to remember what i do, i can see myself doing it but not be able to control my mind or body. Did you have childhood trauma like me? i suffered though 10 year of Physical,sexual,and mental abuse for my mother, and her boyfriends. i wish i could go back in time and just tell my grandmother what was going on but i can't...
