Frustration and anger toward parts work

Mentioned this thread to my therapist today + my feelings. She did say (and I'm paraphrasing here) "I know it's important that you feel as normal as possible and what I ask you to do sometimes seems kooky". We've concluded that 1) my aversion to feeling ridiculous is a trauma thing and 2) parts work is helpful but if/when i decide it's not we will switch gears.

Today's session was kind of an impromptu check-in, but it was helpful and gave me space to mention the above. Hammered out a few other details, so I feel sure about continuing on.
