I prefer these ads. They are less tabloid themed and/or mammary gland/breasts/find singles in your area/find a bride obsessed.

I have my fingers crossed they are enough to help with the site costs.

Does Google Adsense ever advertise on news websites, as an example? Where stories can be sensitive, tragic, hurtful...

[Afterthought: hurtful, towards who? Posting about recovery from PTSD: It is the sufferers who are hurt, who are their words being hurtful towards? If someone doesn't want to read things here, they have a choice not to]

Yes, Google allow news sites with such content to run their ads... it seems hypocrisy is also within their arsenal. The majority of advertisers will require prior approval to enter their programs... but Google does not. Google instead allows anyone, providing you apparently meet their public guidelines, then at random intervals they get around to you and further decide whether you meet their non-public guidelines, it seems, after firstly allowing you to earn revenue from advertisers and create budgets and such from that revenue. Google punish you after the fact, where the majority of online ad agencies simply don't punish you at all, as they either accept you or reject you from their programs at the start.

This is already disseminated now, here, through major social networks and it will slowly be picked up if any interest is found within it.
