Welcome, what year where you in Casey, for me it was 2003-2004, then I went to Ft.hood, 4ID dep 2006-2007, then went to 2/7cav 1st cav for my last deployment. I just like seeing similar patterns in service, you meet great people that where in the same areas but ya didnt know them at the time.

I was at Casey from the towards the end of 04 till close till the end of 05. Then I was sent to fort hood where I deployed to Iraq on Halloween night in 06.

Thanks for all the replys. I didn't mean for my in toro to be that long but once I started writing it kind of all just spilled out. I realize most people won't read it all but it did help me to get it out. I didn't want people to think I was a fraud making a bunch of stuff up either. I tried to post some links to validate my expirernces but it wouldn't allow me to.

Welcome Bang. I didn't read any of your intro yet, just the members' replies, otherwise I would not be writing now. What I can tell from your short comment above & their replies is that, if you are not already, you should be in a group. You obviously are ready to unload some baggage and that is a good thing. For all of me, I think 11BB & HCurt are the same guy. This post "fixing" everything that was corrected about the other. Except over corrected. Like a term paper for a particularly dim professor. Because I think this guy's a troll. Same voice. Same shock over things that, for me at least are normal but seem to wind civvies up, and blithe about some serious f*cking shit like it ain't never no mind.

I've stayed out of it for my own reasons, but I was never any damn good at keeping my mouth shut for long. Cards on the table, my opinion for what it's worth.
