Have You Noticed An Increased Allergy Season Where You Are?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or read about it. I noticed a few years ago that my allergy season was starting earlier each year and getting longer. Now it starts mid-March and goes all the way to mid-November for me. I bascially live off of stupid allergy meds now. (I just spent the last five minutes sneezing my head off lol.)

I recently read that they are blaming the increased allergy season in Canada on gobal warming, which I'm not sure I entirely believe. (It's still -40 below plus a wind chill with 6 feet of snow or more here.)

So.. have you noticed this increase or read about it? And what do you think is causing it if not global warming?

I think it could be increased environment sensitivities due to pollution.

Yes, and it's driving me insane having a constant sore throat (no infection) and the sneezing! I have noticed a lot of people sneezing here even though it is Autumn as "Bless You" is becoming monotonous.

Yeah it's getting tiring saying that over and over again. LOL Allergy meds are gonna knock me out in about five minutes here.. LOL I also get the whole red, itchy, watery and glued shut eyes thing.. so much fun! not!

Yes, here too. We have trees, flowers, weeds and shrubs all blooming at the same time. I have been feeling pretty bad but am toughing it out because the evening antihistimine was drying my eyes out and may have contributed to this new symptom "Blephartis" (sounds lovely doesn't it? /sarcasm), inflammation of the eyelids. Last season my esophagus was twice the size or normal. Ack.

I have never experienced seasonal allergies before, but I think I am now! So I guess that would be a for sure increase lol :laugh:
