Hi,
I am new to the forum. As from my user name, you can see that I like to read....lots! I live in sunny and a currently hot SC (in the middle of a drought). I have been diagnosed with PTSD since 2004. I sought treatment at that time. However, I had to switch employment in order to save what little mind that I had left. So...new job=no insurance and I had to quit therapy. I managed to push it all down and had done quite well until recently. The panic attacks were coming on sometimes five times a day. Now I am down to maybe 1-2/day. I'd say that's an improvement. I have been lurking here and have gotten encouragement from all the posts. Thanks for reading this and I hope to post more in the future.

Welcome I hope this place can give you an outlet when you need it. I find it comforting just to know I'm not the only one who go's through this. Not that I'm glad anyone else does.

Hi,and Welcome to the forum :hello:
I read a lot of books also.We have just moved house and I still have a lot of books to sort out. Books and fabric for those sewing projects I'm yet to start!

Welcome Booknerd! What is your favorite book? Any specific genre that you like best? I love ancient history and philosophy. Hope you learn a lot here as there is quite a bit to read. More importantly, I hope it helps! map9

Thanks for the welcome. I love to read anything really...from gardening to romances, paranormal stuff, you name it and I'll read it. I'm finding a lot of good info here. Thanks again.

Hello and welcome! Books are a marvelous way to escape: useful, comforting, and diverting! Reading anything good currently? I've been focusing primarily on self help books lately (that, and text books for school) but I think it's time for a little fiction. All work and no play, as the saying goes. Take care of yourself, and do post again! :)
