New Here
Hello. My name is Mina.
I'm currently 25 and a survivor of abuse, different kinds. I'm married and my husband is military.
I'm mostly here because I'm curious about dissociation and if what I've been going through is that.
I've been diagnosed with Dysthymia, ocd, and anxiety. But I haven't been able to talk much about it with a psychologist. Hopefully this site can help.

Welcome @Crilbyte . Feel free to look around and ask any questions that might come u...

I'd never heard of it either. I avoided treatment for so long since I didn't think I was actually depressed. I wasn't suicidal and my mother was diagnosed with depression and I wasn't as bad as her. But when I finally got help they explained that I had Dysthymia. It was actually really relieving to get the diagnosis.

Welcome. I'm sorry for your past of trauma. I'm new here too! I might be able to help you out with questions regarding dissociation. I've been experiencing it since I was a toddler. There are so many different levels of it. It's a very strange thing. Im no expert but I'm learning about it through myself and am more than happy to share what I know so far.

Hi Mina, I'm new here as well and, as a survivor of abuse, grapple with the ptsd/c-ptsd symptoms that are it's residual legacy. I don't dissociate nearly as much as I used to (there's hope!!!), but do understand what it's like. Holding out a cyber hand...
