How Did You Regain The Feeling Of Safety - And How Did You Know?

T brought this up again this week. How do we as adults recognise feeling safe when we have never had it before? But he also said when things trigger you and you feel unsafe again it helps to remind you of the differences between feeling safe and not. So once you have identified those feelings they are easier to recognise at an earlier stage when things are not going so well.

I also thing there are great similarities between feeling unsafe and feeling scared. They are not the same but certainly seem to overlap.
