I was wondering how to tell my girlfriend that I have P.T.S.D. She lives in Turkey and we write each other every day. I chatted with her on Facebook today and I told her I have P.T.S.D. So I was very very open with her. I haven't told her yet that I was raped but I will. She knows that I was attacked four years ago but she doesn't know that it was a rape. The rapist only got one year in prison when he should have got 30. And he was on parole for child molesting when he raped me and sodomized me. I felt let down by the system how could this pervert child molester only get one year when he should have gotten 30 years. And now he is on parole for what he did to me. And I have a restraining order put in place against him which is current till 2013 and I can get it renewed for another 3 years after the first one laps.
