We're okay @Fadeaway Thanks. Have just been trying to avoid my grandma and have been staying out of the house with the baby as much as possible. Trying to work out a plan for where to go/how soon it will be possible, etc. Thank you for thinking of me and little man!

I suspect your family is in deep denial. They figured hey Casey can keep an eye on Grandma and Grandma can give Casey and Little Man somewhere to live. And that would be about the end of their thinking about the situation.

Trust your gut. Hope an alternative place to live comes up ASAP!

@Sighs I'm thinking the same thing. They can't seem to come to terms with how bad she is. I'm trying to find a place to live while at the same time trying to get my old job in Ukraine back -- whatever comes through first will be what I go with.

@Angela Corgan I am going to take a guess and say that you were trying to start a thread or you were doing a search? Often when you try to start a new thread or search it auto fills. You may have intended to click on a thread with the title you mentioned, but it took you to this thread instead. It happens.

I think she probably has a type of dementia and you should try to get her assessed by a doctor as there are anti dementia drugs that help reduce symptoms. Paranoia is common and as she may not remember the event it is a danger to her and you.

Don't know if anyone mentioned it but you can anonymously call the local elder care county services. They'll come inspect and could require her to go to assisted living
