I've recently been notcing a change in my reactions. I've always been firey with a decent temper. Lately I've ran into some uneducated women about sexual assault apparently women don't rape and if a guys dick is hard he must of wanted it and a whole bunch of other sexist comments meanwhile claiming to be feminists. I aware not everyone who is feminist believes that. Yes before I get any lectures I'm well aware of history and how that movement came to be. I'd consider you no worse than them if you felt the need to preech at me like a religious nut.

Well, I had a tanty and I'm still in an angry mood. I've recently started therapy for some things but is it normal when going through therapy people can say the wrong things at wrong times due to doing sexual abuse therapy?

However talking about women rapists or pedophiles is very taboo in today's society but I guess that's the problem. They pissed me off and they f*ckin heard about how much of ignorant morons they were being

@Abendroth - That would be so hard for me to hear! I heard someone, no prosecutor no less, say that tape doesn't affect developmentally disabled people as much because they are not as intellectually able to understand. I wanted to tell at her, neither are kids! Oh it makes me furious just to think of.

Rape is rape. So horrible to hear that in 2014, people are still justifying it. I'm female like you, and I was assaulted by a female once. It was handled so badly compared to the male who assaulted me. So very badly. :banghead:

That would make me angry to hear that too. Rape is rape, and them minimising and dismissing it like that is as ignorant as saying "she was asking for it" or whatever. They are not feminists because feminism is about equal rights for all people. It gets misused by people tho, just like people have used religion to justify abuse.

I'm sorry that they dismissed your experience. They had no right and their judgement says more about them than you.
