The title says it all tonight, hubby really has excelled himself, though not in a good way.

He has fallen in the bath and has a suspected fracture, so we are going to the emergency department in the morning.

What he failed to tell me before was that this is not the first time he has fallen on it, he has done it twice before in the last 2 weeks. Once going into the garage and once coming out.

He took his medication tonight, then pain killers, he was away with the fairy's within half an hour.

Its like looking after a 12 year old at times.

(((Amethis & Hubby))).

I'm sorry this has happened. Falling is a horrible thing to happen. I do it as well and as you get older, it is a shock to the system and erodes the confidence.

I think back to when my girls fell, I would pick them up, dust them down, kiss them better and let them get on with it. Now, when I fall, I realise how horrid it is.

Take care lovelies.

We are back from the A&E visit and no visible signs of a break or crack on the x rays. so they have put it in a splint for 2 weeks then he has to go back for it looking at again. If no pain then all fine, if he is still in pain they will look at having it scanned, as it can be difficult to see the breaks or crack where it hurts.

We were only there an hour all together, and back home in time for the bike racing on TV.

He was away with the fairies for a while though, as the pain killers they gave him were quite strong.

2 week post accident update.

We have been back to have his wrist checked this morning, and further x rays taken. Still no sign of a fracture, but because he is still in pain with it, they have put it in a cast for 2 weeks.

If it is still not right after 2 weeks of it being completely immobile, they will do an MRI scan on it to see if they can see anything that way.

So you can imagine the fun and games we are having as it is his right hand, and he is right handed.

Not exactly a happy bunny, but at least we get the thumbs up :roflmao:
