Lol amethist, what a story, hubby doesnt do things by half does he! :(

Wishing you both well with this, you for your great patience, hubby to have some patience....

Ps think its a man thing amethist..... my son broke his knuckles recently & like your hubby has had a number of casts, they have either itched, rubbed, got in his way........& driven his wife mad!

Hubby has had his cast taken off his wrist today. Seems the torn ligament was not as bad as we were told a while back. The specialist today said it will heal better without the cast on.

He is in very little pain now and can move his wrist with any trouble. Just has to lay off the screw drivers for another couple of weeks.

He has been given a removable splint to wear when driving for now, but apart from that all is fine.

Well hubby has stepped up to the mark and excelled himself yet again.

He cut his finger badly yesterday doing some DIY. So bad he needed micro surgery on it this morning. He had managed to sever 3 nerves and a tendon.

He is now well bandaged up and will be stuck with only being able to use one hand for the next couple of weeks.

It seems like the light at the end of your tunnel is a train, lol. What else? It's the small things that tip the scale in life, wishing you nothing but positive things from here on in. You both deserve a break!

I have to say hubby is doing remarkably well considering what he has been through the last few days. No sign of a PTSD flare up and he is taking better care of himself than he has done for the last few months.

He is taking his antibiotics on time and has left the drink alone since he cut it on Tuesday. That in itself is a bonus to me.

Hubby has not been well for the last couple of days, though nothing to do with PTSD. It was the antibiotics, and after chatting on the phone to a Dr this morning, he has to stop taking them.

He is back at the hospital tomorrow to have his finger checked out.

Hubby had his finger checked and re dressed today and all is doing fine, though the stitches don't come out for another week.

Here are a couple of Photo's of the full hand bandage and now the just one finger bandage.

The first one is not too bad he is just putting it on for effect. LOL

Great expressive face :) hope all continues in the right direction, you both have had enough ;) now, if he doesn't like something, there would be no mistaking what he meant if he gave the finger.

Well last night he did what I was hoping he would not do, he took his stitches out.

I know they were coming out tomorrow, but he just could not wait. He is now refusing to go back tot he hospital for the last check and clearance that all is fine.
