Well I don`t know why your getting stropy with me, Like I said I don`t want to know because I couldn`t care less.
You asked!
And I replied why it is important to the members here on the site (thought I was stating the obvious but obviously not ) and merely added my own lackadaisical attitude to a theme that has been chewed over again and again and again.
But it does none the less brighten my day knowing that the "Funniest Thing you`ve ever been asked" has put a smile on your face. I am assuming again here that you smiled, because if you didn`t find it funny I can`t understand why you would say you found it funny, very confusing indeed.
But do please feel free to vent here on the forum, it may just help you more than you know.
As for the KBAR? (I assume you mean the Ka-Bar combat knife used by the USMC that was origianly made by Camillus Cutlery Co.) Well if it does have my name on it, do be a good chap and see if you can get it back to me. It would be much appreciated.
And well, yes the "Balls", I did say you have them! So why you think you need to explain why you may have some is beyond me if I am totaly honest.
But then so much is these days Probably been around the block once to often in my own opinion,
Not getting any younger you see, and the weather, f*ck me, you have know idea what the wet does for my back, and the cold, the cold it`s like ...there realyis no explanation, and the noise levels play merry hell with my hearing, like listening to the sea through an empty tin of Heinz baked beans.
I even had to get Reading glasses last year, Can you believe it, Reading glasses and not a pinch near 50. Still bloody fit for a 40 year old mind, well if only the weather stays dry and warm that is, but then I never realy have understood why I stayed in a cold wet country and then in the wettest part of it to boot. It realy is like living in a stream, the constant wet, and the rain oh don`t get me started on the rain, it gets in everywhere,
When I brought the new, (well actualy it was old,) house you should have seen the water in the cellar, honestly when it rained it was like someone hand turned on a tap at let the water flow through the wall.
And as for the stream at the bottom of my land, it actualy flooded the garden a couple of years ago, bit like Jimmy`s creek but not quit as wide, or remote. or wild, infact come to think of it it isn`t anything like Jimmy`s creek because it isn`t any where near as wide for starters. and well it doesn`t dry up either.
We don`t even get Cyclone`s here, so it only gets fed from the local lands and roads which means there is no flash flooding,
Not like in the UK. have you seen the news lately. Allmost like someone found the plug and pulled it out cheeky blighter he was I bet. No doubt a yobbo. Probably one of those sort who just wants a free ride. Country is rife with them these days,
Not that you think I live by the sea mind. I don`t, far to inland to hear that through an old tin of Heinz baked beans, would be some bloody good hearing if I could what. You could drop a bomb next to me these days and I would hear a thing
Be just like gettting blown up in Ireland, bloody fun times they were, Army isn`t what is was mind, far to soft these days. and all these yobbos thinking they a right to an opinion while serving Queen and Country. Wouldn`t of happened in my day I can tell you.
Only opinion you were to have was that of the RSM, and you knew if you had another. Pace stick to the back of the head with such force you could wake the dead. And not a complaint to be heard, Well yes we did have the one or other ponce who complained about everything, but not like these days. Full of them the Military is in my opinion.
Not that I am opinionated, not realy anyway, just have an opinion on most things, the reason why I only chat with cetain members of the forum here, just to many chaps not liking there toes being trodden on,
Boots were sturdier in my day you see. Can`t beat a pair of DMS for looking after your toes. Ripped shreds of your heals mind, but good for your toes. Not that it ever bothered me getting them trodden on. Bloody silly putting them there in the first place realy. But no better way to learn.
But then I am rambling now.
