You've been through a lot and it's wonderful you've got a good treatment program going now. It sounds like the future is considerably brighter for you!

I understand what you mean about the people around you staying the same and bringing you down. At a certain point in my recovery I had to change some of the people around me, letting go of some friendships that were ultimately harming me. But it will come in time, when you are ready to change things, you will. You are doing a great job!
