@Radise seriously this thread has been vary entertaining. This will be my partnar and I's first Valentines day together. He is giving me something (flowers, candy, a card, some combination of those) because he wants to and I am giving him one of my traditional anti-valentines day cupcakes (I have been making them for over 10yrs) that will say "Love sucks" or "Cupid Must Die" written on it. I have no problem holding contradicting views about this holiday in my head. @FridayJones will be happy to know, I then plan on celebrating "Steak and Blowjob Day" for the first time ever with him next month (March 14th for those who don't know the date) because ever since I heard about it a few years ago I've always wanted to have someone I love to share that wonderful holiday with :roflmao:

@richter scale hahaha just like Valentines day isn't the only day my partner gives me flower or candy, Steak and Blow Job Day isn't the only day he gets such things ;) It's just a day set aside (like Valentines day is for women) to show the man you love how much you appreciate him :p

Momofthree......on a serious note ..I'm marking that date in my calendar and going out of my way to make sure he's on a 'strict' diet that day...I personally go against what society tries to push on me...just because everybody else is doing it.
So maybe it's to do with a need to feel that you are part of society, as well as feeling loved?

I fell in love or thought I did with a man very much so older than me and I unfortunately kept switching between them. This time I am staying with the current younger one. The older man has PTSD and he also happens to have 2 types of Cancer now. Lung and bone

Bummer that must have been a blow his bone cancer you must have been heart broken he quashed your plans for someone to look after you and you being in love with him of course would have had to care for him. Poor you. And you 2 timed both of them. That must have been hard work going from one bed to another with your disability. Still this guy bought you edible valentines present despite how shit you are treating him and you couldn't make up your mind which one would look after you. Yes true love.

I am SMI and I have Borderline Personality Disorder, I also have Link Removed and Social Link Removed Disorder (Undiagnosed because the doctor says I don't need one because I am on meds for them both). I am also Bipolar Type 2.

The OP stated in another thread that she has Borderline Personality Disorder. Not trying to be mean, but I think that pretty much sums up the problem here. I think it explains a lot about what she has posted, her responses or lack thereof, the descriptions of tumultuous relationships with family and fiance, and seeming inability to take anyone's advice. I don't know if she has PTSD or what her trauma history is but nothing is going to change for her until and unless she gets treatment for the personality disorder. That needs to be her first priority. Just my opinion.

@Santa_Laurie it is American slang for oral sex, referring to that done on a male rather then 'eating out' which is done on a female. (male and female referring to sexual organs not gender identification).
